I am happy to say that we are experiencing growth pains at Elam. We are seeing more and more people come to know the Lord and we are seeing a significant increase in adult and children service attendance. Because of this we must make changes to the way that we currently do things. The list of changes that we are making have been included in this newsletter. Some are small and will mostly go unnoticed. However, there are some changes that are going to take place that have never been done before. Change is not easy, but sometimes it is needed. In our case, it is needed because of the Lord’s blessings being poured out on us. As we move into these changes, I ask that everyone keep an open mind as we work through this time of growth. Some things will work, and some may not, but we are committed to doing what is best for the kingdom of God. Psalm 32:8 tells us, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” The staff has met consistently to pray, plan and seek the Lord’s will for leading change. We are trusting in the Lord in the direction He is leading us, and we ask you to do the same. Scripture tells us that every good and perfect gift is from the Lord and He sure is giving Elam blessings. This is a time to celebrate what the Lord is doing!
